About the Role

As an HR Manager, you will understand the business needs so that you can help our managers and leaders with complex challenges and give guidance on people topics. You implement global people processes, tools and measures locally and within the region. You ensure that the local organization has the right capabilities and performance culture to deliver business goals. In this role you will engage and retain the best fitted talent in Qt APAC via efficient HR practices, coaching and supporting managers and fostering a transparent, open communication and positive work environment.

You will report to VP, Global HR and be a part of an experienced global team of HR professionals.



Your responsibilities

  • Implement global HR processes, tools, policies, and practices locally.
  • Be the employer representative in all HR matters. Ensure legal compliance in all employment issues and actions.
  • Offer expert HR guidance to managers in the following areas: career planning, performance management, coaching, compensation and rewards, employee relations, and learning and development.
  • Participate in the development and maintenance of local and global people policies, processes and systems and implement these in the organization.
  • Collaborate with HR colleagues within the global HR network to deliver HR action plans.
  • Closely collaborate with local employees to ensure high quality HR operations.
  • Actively take part in and facilitate local hiring and onboarding processes.
  • Develop local culture to ensure we have positive work environment building on Qt values.
  • Payroll processing and cooperation with local payroll providers.

Your qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in Human Resource management, ideally from the industry and in a global organization with leaders from different cultures.
  • Extensive knowledge in all HR relevant topics and understanding of how HR contributes to achieve change and business results.
  • Experience from both strategic and operational HR.
  • In depth knowledge of Chinese labor regulations and laws.
  • General knowledge of various employment laws and practices in Korea and Japan.
  • Professional level in Microsoft Office.
