Integrating and interacting with web content in a native application is one of the core strengths in Qt’s offering. Qt WebEngine is the module that brings the power of the most capable browser platform (Chromium) to Qt. Qt WebEngine is developed in the Berlin R&D office by a team of software engineers that we’d like to reinforce by a dedicated C++ developer. We offer a permanent position with lots of freedom, but also responsibility to drive things forward.
You develop new features, and design C++ and QML API’s. You triage and fix bugs across the stack and on various platforms. You actively participate in the Qt project, review other developer’s patches, and work with the documentation, QA and releasing teams to make Qt the best product possible.
You have a solid background in software engineering, and know the ins and outs of C++. You take pride in writing solid code, and have an interest in API design. You should also be comfortable working in an international organization, and can fluently communicate in written and spoken English.
