Vice President of Sales, EMEA

This unique position offers a front-row seat in technology services, working across a broad range of industries on innovative products with our global client base.

As the Vice President of Sales – EMEA region, you will be responsible for exceeding sales goals in the Europe, Middle East and Africa regions. You will recruit and lead the regional sales teams of individual contributors and be responsible for identifying, developing, and retaining sales professionals that hit or exceed their sales targets. You will be familiar with selling enterprise software solutions to Fortune 1000 companies in this region. You are self-driven, proactive leader will be a self-starter capable with a proven track record of building successful teams, getting up to speed quickly, hunting and closing new business, and managing high-level relationships across all levels and regions.


In this role, you will work closely with all functions (Sales, Marketing, and Product Management) and Channel Sales team to develop and implement strategic plans to achieve or exceed sales targets in the EMEA region.


What you will do:

  • Recruit, coach, mentor, manage, and lead a world class team of sales professionals to close new business and expand upon existing customer base
  • Provide leadership and guidance to the whole EMEA team.
  • Establish and maintain key regional Fortune 1000 customer relationships and develop and implement strategies for expanding the company’s customer base
  • Collaborate with channel leadership team to develop and execute programs with channels to drive incremental revenue
  • Maintain up to date knowledge of competitive sales strategies
  • Sell into multiple levels of an organization as well as close six and sevenfigure deals
  • Ensure that the state of the EMEA regions sales activity is accurately reflected in SFDC
  • Lead the EMEA team to put new opportunities into the sales pipeline, move opportunities thru the sales process, accurately forecast, and close new business

What you are great at:

  • Strong knowledge of new and current technologies and trends specifically in the software tools arena
  • Outstanding consultative selling skills and ability to clearly and effectively articulate the company’s value proposition
  • Excellent team leadership and sales coaching skills
  • Strong industry contacts in the prospective customer and influencer communities as well as the channel partner community
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with ability to conduct sales presentations and interact effectively with internal and external customers at executive levels
  • Experience of working with high profile Fortune 1000 customers in the region.
  • Experience of working in international companies
  • Willing to travel throughout the region as needed


Your Experience & Education:

  • 10+ years of experience selling enterprise software to Fortune 1000 customers
  • 5+ years of experience leading sales team in the EMEA region
  • BA/BS degree required
  • Proficiency in German and English languages
